Throughout this website you will find a range of information relating to our Pre-school. We hope you will find it both useful and informative and that it will tell you all that you need to know in order to understand how the Pre-school works.
Established for over 40 years and located in the heart of Kingston village, Kingston Pre-school is a registered charity run by a parent led committee. We provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years. We are open during term time for 5 mornings per week between 9am to 12pm and there is a lunch club for children aged between 3-5 years from 12pm-1pm.
We are OFSTED registered to provide full day care for up to 24 children and meet all the welfare requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our last OFSTED report can be seen by clicking on the Ofsted logo and the registration certificate is kept on the noticeboard in the lobby.
The committee meet once each half term to discuss the operation of the Pre-school and it is an opportunity to meet other Pre-school parents. Any parent, carer or grandparent with a child at Pre-school is encouraged to attend meetings and/or become a member of the committee.
As a registered charity the Pre-school has a written constitution, a copy of which can be found on this website.
The Pre-school is also a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance which offers guidance and support.
