FACILITIES
The Pre-school is run in Kingston village hall. In the large main hall we create partitioned activity areas, we have a quiet room which we also use for storytelling and we have a fully equipped kitchen where we prepare mid morning snacks. There are segregated children's toilets, separate staff toilets, a separate nappy changing / potty training area and a secure garden at the rear of the hall for outdoor play. During the Easter holiday 2012, we plan to have doors fitted which will allow for a free flow of movement between indoor and outdoor and the children will choose where to play for a large part of each session.
We have a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor equipment, toys, books and learning aids which we constantly update. In addition to our garden we make regular use of the play equipment on the village green and also take regular walks to the large village playing field, which is also the venue for our annual Teddy Bears Picnic.
