PARTNERSHIP WITH PARENTS
Pre-schools are unique because they actively promote a parent/carers involvement in their childís learning and seek to foster close relationships between parents/carers and staff. We seek to engage with parents/carers as partners and fully appreciate that you know your child best. If at any time there is anything you wish to discuss about your childís time at Pre-school, you may speak to any staff or committee member, all conversations will be treated in confidence.
Involvement of any kind is greatly valued, if you have any special skills or interest donít hesitate to share them with us. We welcome any contribution you can make whether it be serving on the committee, making cakes for the village fete, volunteering for a slot on the parent rota or simply supporting our fund raising events.
Parents/carers are not required to help during sessions but if you wish to help out regularly or occasionally you are most welcome to do so. There is a list on the notice board where you can sign up for the date you wish to help. All parents who wish to help will need to have relevant checks completed and sign acceptance to the Pre-schoolís guidance for voluntary helpers.
