OUTINGS AND EVENTS
From time to time staff organise outings, often to tie into a theme, for example "How Things Grow" when children might visit the local garden centre to buy seeds which they plant and grow at pre-school. In addition staff organise a summer outing for children and parents, a popular format being a train ride to Seaford where the Salts Recreation Ground and beach are within a very short walk.
The committee organise activities throughout the year. For the children we have a Christmas nativity and party, an Easter event and at the end of the summer term a Teddy Bears Picnic on the village playing field.
We have fund raising events like village quiz nights, wheelathons, sponsored walks, children's discos, cake sales, toy exchanges and each year we support the village hall committee by running a stall at the Kingston Village Summer Fete.
We also have regular coffee mornings which provide an opportunity to come to pre-school, have coffee and biscuits and meet other parents/carers and staff for a chat.
