Established for over 30 years and located in the heart of Kingston village, Kingston pre-school is a registered charity run by a parent led committee.
We provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment for children between the ages of 2-5 years. We are open during term times for 5 mornings a week between 9am-1pm.
We have close links with both ‘Iford and Kingston’ and ‘Rodmell’ primary schools and specialise in providing a unique Rising 5 class to prepare our older children for the next important step of their education.
We are Ofsted registered to provide full daycare for up to 24 children aged 2-5 years and meet all the Welfare requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our last Ofsted inspection noted us ‘a warm and welcoming place to play’ with ‘an excellent range of interesting and inviting activities’
Staff training is taken very seriously and all staff are appropriately trained. Some staff have a long association with pre-school.
We are supported by SureStart and East Sussex Early Years, Childcare and Extended Schools Service (EYCESS).
